We are celebrating our littlest ones birthday this weekend and planning is in full swing! I LOVE birthdays and am taking full advantage of them being at the age where its still cool and fun for mom to plan every detail of our their parties 🙂 Back in June, we celebrated our little fairy’s 4th birthday! She has OPINIONS people and she specifically requested a woodland tea party theme. So I got right on it! June in TN is approx 4,000 degrees so there was no way we were going to actually be IN the woods, but we did out best to make it work inside!
I thought it would be SO fun to make fairy gardens with the little fairies invited, so I took Sis on a date to Hobby Lobby and we oohed and ahed over all the pretty jewels, sparkly butterflies and tiny beads! Making the gardens was the BIGGEST hit!! They sat for at least 30min just decorating and imagining! It was so much fun to watch. They were all so creative!
I’m realizing at this age they don’t need planned games because they just want to play with each other! So after our tea party and craft we turned on the bubble machine and gave Anne Charlotte her big birthday present…a barbie jeep!
I *think* she liked it! Ha!
We had the best day celebrating our sweet girl and the party felt like it captured all our favorite things about her…her contagious joy, creativity, and imagination!
Oh and how could I forget to mention and Daddy and the brothers were allowed to attend as “butlers” 🙂
Do you guys like planning kids parties or would you rather have an experience together?
